Chalet Updates

hello guys, we can book in at about 3pm on thur. i'll be meeting melie's bro to get it settled coz she can't be with us until day 2 bbq which is at night...maybe we wana meet at 12 to eat at white sands. then slowly make our way to the chalet..dun have to rush..then we can slaaaack until dinner time. so first day abit zo boh la actually..it's better to leave the methods of time-killing to you guys..

note: whatever below DOESN'T serve as a timetable of any sort, any suggestions to improve the ways things can be done will be welcome...

Thursday
3pm: book in!!!
6pm onwards: dinner and then slack again..can watch tv, play monopoly up to u guys..

Friday
1) clean up, wash up, go white sands to makan(i guess no one will wake up so early anyway..) .
2) at white sands: buy stuff for bbq at night(charcoal, food, firestarters what not), most prob wont cost more than 8 bucks per person...
3) back to chalet: preparations! melie will only reach at 8+, so maybe we can start setting the fire at 6-630 or sth..
4) zo boh again..we hafta book out on day three morning so enjoy while you can..

we will need ppl to bring ball, poker cards n board games..who can volunteer and get it settled asap? so that we won't go there and end up with the 'i thought others will bring' problem..thanks~

we decided to request for an ice-cream log cake from Mr lim.
The last time we had an ice cream moon cake for moon cake festival.
this time we shall have an ice cream log cake for log cake festival(christmas)!!!
Actually, we were cracking our brains cos we would want him to get something that can represent his joy of his career advancement.

ok guys.. comfirmed.. booked the chalet already from the 14 dec (thurs) to the 16 dec (sat)..
cost: $129 (1st night) + $165 (2nd night) each person will pay about $16.30 for the chalet.. think i trust u guys to pay up.. so will collect on the actual day itself.. for those who had collected money from ur various varsities, thanks n jux pass me the money that day..

can someone volunteer to take charge of bbq? best on the 2nd night cause abigail and i will be on attachment so might not stay on the 1st night.. as due to attachment, i might only be released from work at around 6 on thurs.. so i foresee that u guys will see the chalet only at nite.. if that's ok wif u guys.. someone can volunteer again to organise on the time of meeting for the rest of the people if u guys wanna meet earlier to play or what.. sorry for all these trouble cause to everyone.. too much of slacking and now work piling up has caused me to affect this booking.. really sorry again..

oh ya.. talking about mr lim.. saw him in njc on open day.. he said to keep him updated on the chalet stuff and he'll be going..

ALRIGHT GUYS AND GIRLS!

After spending an insane 2 hours contacting u ppl, its confirmed that our class chalet will be held at Costa Sands Resort(Pasir Ris) Duplex Chalet, from 14th December to 16th December! Melissa will get it booked tomorrow afternoon, so whoever is confirmed, please honor your word and remem to pay her!

Cost for the chalet: $16 to $17
Amount of money to bring: $50 bucks excluding chalet money. It should be enough for u guys to spend without worrying..we may have a bbq so u guys may wana bring about 10 bucks to pay for it too...
Things to bring:
1. Basic necessities/clothes, i dont think i have to brief about this..
2. soccer ball...bball..frisbee..any stuff that can be played, please try to bring also..same goes for board games..

Who's going at the moment: the same pple wenbin mentioned in the previous post + Francine!! :)

So... what about the rest? (those who don't read this) Hmmm... keep them updated k? flood them with smses, emails or whatever :P

So... we've to more or less get the "confirmed" people who are going before booking so that we know the size of the chalet to get. Those who confirm they'd be there MUST pay whether or not "something crops up then" coz otherwise those who go end up paying way more than expected. Not very fair ya?

Hence, please indicate a confirmation (yes... again) on the tagboard by 29th August (exactly one week from now)! Thanks!!!

did i miss out anyone? until now onli 12 leh..for those who are reading this, please help to pass it on to anyone who may have not been informed. then cheemin can help us book it online. guess we should do this fast lest there be no more chalets left to book. fyi, a 3days 2 nights chalet will cost abt $400 at max, then abt $350 on average, so that means its abit over 20 bucks for everyone if we can get a few more peeps. not v ex considering army ppl haf abit of savings and the girls can get their bfs to pay for them..lolz. try to get the numbers in by tml. post here or on the tagboard to update if there is anymore people coming for it. thanks~

ps. im thinking of having it from between 10th to 14th, coz most ppl will be busy with their own stuff from then onwards..its holiday season after all..any objections? hafta get this settled quick so that cheemin wun be at a lost. arigatou
